MapleStory has always been evolving with major content that injects freshness and much excitement with the changes and new features it introduces - who can forget the Big Bang patch that nearly rewrote every aspect of the game from the ground up, the Chaos patch that brought more skill changes, and now the Ascension?

It's time for Hidden Street to ascend to greater heights too - and we're happy and excited to announce that we'll be revamping and redesigning the site from the ground up as well - in short, it's a little Big Bang from us, for you.

Due to the huge amount of time and effort that this would involve - a major undertaking on our part - we do not have a timeline of when this redesign will be completed. However, for every phase of this revamp, we will consult the players in our forum for their input.

To kick this off, it's time that we have a brand new logo for our rebirth as well! We invite you to unleash the talented designer within yourselves - attractive prizes await you to be won!

Thanks to an initiative by our forum member Tagg, we're now in the process of updating the PQs to reflect the myriad of changes brought upon by the recent Ascension patch.

If you're interested to help us with the updates, feel free to assist us with whatever information or screenshots that you can garner in Tagg's thread.

To those who missed out on our Facebook/Twitter updates, we have rolled out updates to our database to reflect the new 1.00 patch. Monster cards have been reintroduced - and hence we find it fitting to add a Monster Card Set page.

We're still missing many recipe drops in our database, but thankfully with the introduction of Monster Book/Crusader's Codex, drops are being displayed on the acquired monster cards, which you should easily obtain. Feel free to send us any missing recipe info our way by posting here or contacting us here.

Despite the lack of a news announcement here, we've been gradually rolling out Chaos-related updates to the database. Because of major additions and changes introduced in Chaos that necessitated us to tweak our system a little to accommodate these new changes (such as the new Traits system, skill changes, PVP skills, herbs & veins, etc.), along with some real life commitments, it took us longer than we expected to complete these updates.

Feel free to continue to contact us should you notice anything else that's missing in the database. Our database functions mostly based on user submissions from players like you. :)

In the same vein as our Before Big Bang database, we've now archived the current Global database before we make any major Chaos-related updates to the site. You may find our Before Chaos useful for your needs when the Big Bang patch is released in EMS.

We'd like to apologise for the slight delay, but we've updated our database with the new Maple equipment drops and which monster you can find them from. As the drops for these Maple items are only temporary, you may find which monsters drop the item directly from the item itself, not the monster.

Just a quick note to let you guys know that we're in the midst of updating the database with version 0.96 content. So far, most of the items, equipment, Floating Island of Chryse and Lion King's Castle maps have already been added to the database.

We will update this post periodically as the updates to the database are rolled out.
