=============================================================================== *** Note: This guide was made before official translations for skills and job namings were released, so, I might have left something behind. If you find a mistake, please tell me (my e-mail is at the bottom of the guide). =============================================================================== INTRODUCTION: =============================================================================== v0.1: Created 1st and 2nd job skill distribution tables. v0.2: Created 3rd job distribution table. v0.3: Added Training Spots, and general stuff. v0.4: Corrected Mistranslations, cleaned the visual part of the guide. v0.5: Changed the Second Job Build a little bit to ease training. v0.6: Changed the whole build once more. Divided 3rd job in two builds. v0.7: Minor changes. v0.8: Changed 2nd job build for higher average damage on early levels. == New Character AP Distribution: == STR = Any Number DEX = Any Number INT = 4 or 5 LUK = 4 or 5 Your STR should always be equal to your level, so you just need to put 1 at STR and 4 on DEX per level. But if you want to maximize your damage, you can put all your points on DEX each level, except for levels multiple of 5 (for example, at levels 11, 12, 13 and 14, put all your points on DEX. And then, on level 15, put them on STR. This would allow you to equip stuff from the right level while dealing a higher general damage. =============================================================================== ZERO JOB: BEGINNER SKILL AND AP DISTRIBUTION: =============================================================================== Lv2: Nimble Feet (1) Lv3: Nimble Feet (2) Lv4: Nimble Feet (3) Lv5: HP Recovery (1) Lv6: HP Recovery (2) Lv7: HP Recovery (3) From Lv2 to Lv10: Put All your AP on DEX until your STR becomes equal to your level. At level 10, you are able to make your job advancement to Pirate (AHU!!!). Just get to the Nautilus Port, three maps east of Henesys. The map where Kyrin is located can be accessed through a portal on a whale-painted submarine (called Nautilus Ship). The inside of the ship can be confusing at first, but you can use the area map (press W) to navigate through it. Get to the lower room, she will be there. Talk to her. I am sure you fit by now the requirement of 20 DEX, since it should really be over 50 by now. =============================================================================== FIRST JOB ADVANCEMENT: PIRATE SKILL DISTRIBUTION: =============================================================================== Lv10: Double Shot (1) Lv11: Double Shot (4) Lv12: Double Shot (7) Lv13: Double Shot (10) Lv14: Double Shot (13) Lv15: Double Shot (16) Lv16: Double Shot (19) Lv17: Double Shot (20) + Bullet Time (2) Lv18: Bullet Time (5) Lv19: Bullet Time (8) Lv20: Bullet Time (11) Lv21: Bullet Time (14) Lv22: Bullet Time (17) Lv23: Bullet Time (20) Lv24: Dash (3) Lv25: Dash (6) Lv26: Dash (9) Lv27: Dash (10) + Sommersault Kick (2) Lv28: Sommersault Kick (5) Lv29: Sommersault Kick (8) Lv30: Sommersault Kick (11) I don't need to explain Skill Distribution, those are just the best 1st job skills for your job. At this point, you can make the 2nd job advancement to Gunslinger. The stat distribution stays the same even after the advance. =============================================================================== TRAINING SPOTS: 1ST JOB ADVANCEMENT =============================================================================== From level 10 to 31, it is recommended you keep training on Party Quests, since they give huge amounts of experience and are less boring than just repeative monster killing. Lv10 ~ 22 : Henesys Party Quest Lv23 ~ 30 : Kerning Party Quest =============================================================================== SECOND JOB ADVANCEMENT: GUNSLINGER SKILL DISTRIBUTION: =============================================================================== Lv30: Blank Shot (1) Lv31: Invisible Shot (2) + Gun Mastery (1) Lv32: Invisible Shot (3) + Gun Mastery (3) Lv33: Invisible Shot (5) + Gun Mastery (4) Lv34: Invisible Shot (6) + Gun Mastery (5) + Gun Booster (1) Lv35: Gun Booster (4) Lv36: Gun Booster (6) + Gun Mastery (6) Lv37: Invisible Shot (8) + Gun Mastery (7) Lv38: Invisible Shot (9) + Gun Mastery (9) Lv39: Invisible Shot (11) + Gun Mastery (10) Lv40: Invisible Shot (12) + Gun Mastery (12) Lv41: Invisible Shot (14) + Gun Mastery (13) Lv42: Invisible Shot (15) + Gun Mastery (15) Lv43: Invisible Shot (17) + Gun Mastery (16) Lv44: Invisible Shot (18) + Gun Mastery (18) Lv45: Invisible Shot (20) + Gun Mastery (19) Lv46: Blank Shot (4) Lv47: Blank Shot (7) Lv48: Blank Shot (10) Lv49: Blank Shot (13) Lv50: Blank Shot (16) Lv51: Blank Shot (19) Lv52: Blank Shot (20) + Gun Booster (8) Lv53: Gun Booster (11) Lv54: Gun Booster (14) Lv55: Gun Booster (17) Lv56: Gun Booster (20) Lv57: Wings (3) Lv58: Wings (6) Lv59: Wings (9) Lv60: Wings (10) + Recoil Shot (2) Lv61: Recoil Shot (5) Lv63: Recoil Shot (8) Lv64: Recoil Shot (11) Lv65: Recoil Shot (14) Lv66: Recoil Shot (17) Lv67: Recoil Shot (20) Lv68: Mastery (20) + Grenade (2)* Lv69: Grenade (5)* Lv70: Grenade (8)* Why Blank Shot first? Because it's useful. Lv30 should be spent on KPQ, and this skill will help you level there faster, while a single point on it won't make much difference on the future. The reason for maxing Invisible Shot and Gun Mastery at the same time is as it follows. Caution, if you do not like Math, skip this part: ============================================== BUILD ONE: 1 Invis. + 10 Mastery at level 34: Max damage: 75% Min damage: 26% ============================================== ============================================== BUILD TWO: 11 Invis. at level 34: Max damage: 125% Min damage: 12% ============================================== ============================================== BUILD THREE: 7 Invis. + 6 Mastery at level 34: Max damage: 105% Min damage: 26% ============================================== This is simple math. Just get the amount of damage you would get from Invisible Shot and multiply it by the percentage Mastery would give you at each level. This is just like figuring out the sides of a rectangle with a perimeter of 40 in order to get the maximum area from it. It will result on a square of side 10. If you don't know what this has to do with the build, imagine that the horizontal side of the square is Invisible Shot and the vertical is Gun Mastery. (remember that if you don't have any points on Mastery, you still have 10% mastery that is basic, and all characters get it). Early gun booster is useful for mobbing. Maxing Blank Shot will be really important on level 50+ for Ludibrium Maze PQs, since it offers support to jobs that do not have skills to increase their damage range (including yourself). Usually, Gunslingers combine Recoil Shot and Wings for moving, in a similar way to Flash Jump. Getting it maxed will grant you a higher distance of shot. And Grenade is optional. You don't need it to train 'cause it's way too hard to aim =============================================================================== TRAINING SPOTS: 2ND JOB ADVANCEMENT =============================================================================== Again, I recommend you train mainly on Party Quests. Lv31 ~ 50 : Carnival Party Quest Lv51 ~ 70 : Ludibrium Maze / Orbis Glitch / Herb Town Party Quest By now, you can choose between Ludibrium Maze, Orbis Glitch and Herb Town PQs. Each one is interesting in it's own way, but if you want to get experience fast, I suggest you try Ludibrium Maze. =============================================================================== THIRD JOB ADVANCEMENT: OUTLAW SKILL DISTRIBUTION: 1v1 BUILD =============================================================================== Lv70: Homing Beacon (1) Lv71: Burst Fire (3) Lv72: Burst Fire (6) Lv73: Burst Fire (9) Lv74: Burst Fire (12) Lv75: Burst Fire (15) Lv76: Burst Fire (18) Lv77: Burst Fire (20); + Gaviota (1) Lv78: Gaviota (4) Lv79: Gaviota (7) Lv80: Gaviota (10) Lv81: Gaviota (13) Lv82: Gaviota (16) Lv83: Gaviota (19) Lv84: Gaviota (22) Lv85: Gaviota (25) Lv86: Gaviota (28) Lv87: Gaviota (30) + Octopus (1) Lv88: Octopus (4) Lv89: Octopus (7) Lv90: Octopus (10) Lv91: Octopus (13) Lv92: Octopus (16) Lv93: Octopus (19) Lv94: Octopus (20) + Ice Splitter (2) Lv95: Ice Splitter (5) Lv96: Ice Splitter (8) Lv97: Ice Splitter (11) Lv98: Ice Splitter (14) Lv99: Ice Splitter (17) Lv100: Ice Splitter (20) Lv101: Ice Splitter (23) Lv102: Ice Splitter (26) Lv103: Ice Splitter (29) Lv104: Ice Splitter (30) + Homing Beacon (3) Lv105: Homing Beacon (6) Lv106: Homing Beacon (9) Lv107: Homing Beacon (12) Lv108: Homing Beacon (15) Lv109: Homing Beacon (18) Lv110: Homing Beacon (21) Lv111: Homing Beacon (24) Lv112: Homing Beacon (27) Lv113: Homing Beacon (30) Lv114: Flamethrower (3) Lv115: Flamethrower (6) Lv116: Flamethrower (9) Lv117: Flamethrower (12) Lv118: Flamethrower (15) Lv119: Flamethrower (18) Lv120: Flamethrower (21) This is a 1v1 Build, which means you'll prior skills that deals great amounts of damage on a single mob instead of lower area damage. This build is recommended for boss-killing. Burst Fire is an improvement of double shot, like the next levels of the skill, and is fast enough to grant you faster training. It deals about 50% more damage than a maxed Homing Beacon, which means you'll kill strong monsters faster. Even though it's not powerfull, Homing Beacon is useful for it's second effect, which enables you to hit monsters behind many other "barrier" monsters (like those Jr.Wraiths that get on your way when killing Headless Horsemen), and you will have to max it anyway to get Bullseye, which is just awesome. =============================================================================== TRAINING SPOTS: 3RD JOB ADVANCEMENT 1v1 BUILD =============================================================================== Guess what? More Party Quests... Lv71 ~ 100 : Herb Town Party Quest Okay, at this point, the remaining Party Quests for your level (Henesys, Amoria and Sharenian) probably do not give you a considerable amount of experience, so you'll finally get to train on normal monsters. Lv101 ~ Lv120 : Haunted House - Kill Headless Horsemen. This conclusion is mathematic. A Headless Horseman has 3.5m HP and gives 300k exp, while a Blue Wyvern, from the same level, has 57k HP and gives about 3k exp. To get the same amount of experience, you would have to kill 100 Wyverns, which would result on 5.7m HP. Aside from that, it is much more fun to spend 5 minutes killing the same boss monster than spending 5 minutes killing countless wyverns. You should just worry about keeping it under constant damage, since it deals massive amounts of damage by either hitting you or throwing it's head on you, and you do have less health than a same level archer. =============================================================================== THIRD JOB ADVANCEMENT: OUTLAW SKILL DISTRIBUTION: AREA BUILD =============================================================================== Lv70: Ice Splitter (1) Lv71: Ice Splitter (4) Lv72: Ice Splitter (7) Lv73: Ice Splitter (10) Lv74: Ice Splitter (13) Lv75: Ice Splitter (16) Lv76: Ice Splitter (19) Lv77: Ice Splitter (22) Lv78: Ice Splitter (25) Lv79: Ice Splitter (28) Lv80: Ice Splitter (30) + Flamethrower (1) Lv81: Flamethrower (4) Lv82: Flamethrower (7) Lv83: Flamethrower (10) Lv84: Flamethrower (13) Lv85: Flamethrower (16) Lv86: Flamethrower (19) Lv87: Flamethrower (22) Lv88: Flamethrower (25) Lv89: Flamethrower (28) Lv90: Flamethrower (30) + Homing Beacon (1) Lv91: Burst Fire (3) Lv92: Burst Fire (6) Lv93: Burst Fire (9) Lv94: Burst Fire (12) Lv95: Burst Fire (15) Lv96: Burst Fire (18) Lv97: Burst Fire (20) + Gaviota (1) Lv98: Gaviota (4) Lv99: Gaviota (7) Lv100: Gaviota (10) Lv101: Gaviota (13) Lv102: Gaviota (16) Lv103: Gaviota (19) Lv104: Gaviota (22) Lv105: Gaviota (25) Lv106: Gaviota (28) Lv107: Gaviota (30) + Octopus (1) Lv108: Octopus (4) Lv109: Octopus (7) Lv110: Octopus (10) Lv111: Octopus (11) + Homing Beacon (3) Lv112: Homing Beacon (6) Lv113: Homing Beacon (9) Lv114: Homing Beacon (12) Lv115: Homing Beacon (15) Lv116: Homing Beacon (18) Lv117: Homing Beacon (21) Lv118: Homing Beacon (24) Lv119: Homing Beacon (27) Lv120: Homing Beacon (30) By maxing first Ice Splitter and Flamethrower, area skills, you'll be able to level faster by killing many monsters at once. The area build does not max Octopus, but enables you to train much faster. It works even better if you train on ice-based or fire-based monsters, that double your skills damage. =============================================================================== TRAINING SPOTS: 3RD JOB ADVANCEMENT AREA BUILD =============================================================================== 71 ~ 100: Herb Town Party Quest Party Quests were always the faster way to level, and this is no exception. The area build is even better than the 1v1 build for this PQ. 101 ~ 110: Leafre - Blue Wyvern's Nest Take the next flight to leafre. This map has only Blue Wyverns, and they take twice the normal damage to Flamethrower. Easy kills, fast leveling, what else could you ask for, right? You only need 3536 Blue Wyverns to level to 102, lol. =============================================================================== CREDITS AND ALL THE REST: =============================================================================== Special Thanks to: - XP_Strato for some info on Gunslingers. - cevans92 for stuff on the second job. - AnnaKwain for helping me all the way. - Hidden Street Team for the Pirate Sneak Peeks. - All the support from guild Amacna (BMS) - All the people sending me e-mails. - You, for reading this guide and helping me improve it.
